The New Hampshire Businesses for Social Responsibility (NHBSR) Spring Confrence, presented by Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health (D-HH), is going digitial for the 19th Annual event. The weeklong conference, from June 1 through June 5, is focused on the struggles and challenges that communities and businesses are confronting during the current public health crisis and will offer critical support, resources and ideas for moving forward.
On June 3 at 1pm EST, Sally Kraft, MD, MPH, Vice President of Population Health at D-HH, will present Population Health in the Era of COVID-19. This presentation will examine the impact of COVID-19 through the lens of population health science and explore how businesses can help communities recover in the months ahead.
“COVID-19 has highlighted the critical intersection between health systems, public health and economic well-being,” says Kraft. “Population health works at that intersection, aligning clinical systems and community interventions to improve the health of communities. Our successful recovery from COVID-19 requires hospitals and communities to work together to treat the clinical and socioeconomic impacts of this disease.”
The spring conference is designed for businesses engaged in a broad spectrum of sustainable/socially responsible practices, allowing attendees from large and small companies alike the chance to learn and share best practices together.
“NHBSR is excited to bring together a vibrant community of sustainability-focused companies and professionals to provide support and share opportunities when inspiration is needed most,” says Michelle Veasey, Executive Director of NHBSR. “While engaging in person with this dynamic and vibrant group is a hallmark of our annual conferences, this year, we are looking forward to exploring new and creative ways to connect and build community through a virtual platform.”
