Ribbon Cuttings
A ribbon cutting is a great way to announce a new business, or newly relocated, expanded or renovated business. This is free to UVBA members. A ribbon cutting marks a new chapter for a business and is a great photo opportunity. UVBA brings the ribbon, the big scissors and we invite members of our board, town officials, members and others. It is a great time for the business to invite customers, significant clients, vendors or others. The cutting gives you an opportunity to speak and showcase your business. Some businesses add an open house or it may just be a photo for publicity - how large is up to the business. UVBA publicizes the cutting through our channels, and also sends to local and state media. Learn more by downloading our ribbon cutting information packet.
